Advocate for better and stronger benefits for every member of AFSCME 1624. That means protecting quality healthcare you can count on. That means ensuring pensions that provide stability and dignity in retirement. And that means negotiating improvements that give workers and their families the peace of mind they deserve.

Demand Safe Working Conditions

No worker should risk their health or safety just for doing their job. That means holding management accountable, enforcing workplace protections, and making sure every member has the equipment and training  they need to do their work safely.

Advocate For Discrimination Free Workplaces

No worker should ever face harassment, bias, or unequal treatment because of who they are. That means demanding fairness, enforcing protections, and building workplaces rooted in dignity and respect. Because when discrimination is eliminated, workers are empowered. 

Enhance Grievance Protections

AFSCME 1624 must has the resources and staff needed to protect every worker in every grievance. When management violates our rights, we don’t need delays or excuses, we need strong representation. We need the people and the tools to defend our members, win our cases, and hold employers accountable.
